Lot #116
Vanduzen Cupola Bell
Description
This is truly a one-of-a-kind find. From the E.W. Vanduzen Company out of Cincinnati cast by the Buckeye Bell Foundry in approximately 1899, this bell sounds amazing and has one of the longest ring tones I have heard. Approximately 26" Mouth, Cast Iron clapper, Rotary Yoke (original), Frame (1 side original – 1 side current manufacture). The Buckey Bell Foundry had their own proprietary blend of products they used to manufacture these bells, when polished the bell comes to a bright gold finish. This is not some little "thin" bell. The Lip and Sound Bowl on this bell are unbelievably thick and you can tell the craftsmanship that was put into this bell.
